Established in 1973 as the Hoge Raad voor Diamant or the Diamond High Council is based in the world diamond capital of Antwerp, Belgium. The HRD offers a wide range of services to the sector such as diamond grading, training, research and trade & industry equipment.

The HRD produce diamond grading reports on all diamond shapes including fancy coloured diamonds. HRD diamond grading reports include all millimeter measurements, table %, crown height % and pavilion depth %. HRD diamond grading reports also provide a Proportions and Finish grade.
